On June 10, 2025, Bob Buckingham Law filed a class action against Building Products of Canada Corp (BP Canada) in relation to defects present in its “Mystique” brand shingles. The defects include numerous small holes present in the shingles, which prevents them from being suitable for their intended purpose.
Eligible class members include all individuals or organizations who have purchased and/or installed the above shingles on their property, whether or not they have experienced damages.
BP Canada may have notified eligible class members that it would not honour its warranty in relation to the shingles.
If you believe you are a class member, please preserve any documentation that would help substantiate your claim, including receipts, shingles, and correspondence. Additionally, please complete the below form to ensure you remain up to date on the progress of the class action.
Our firm has been contacted by others who claim identical or similar issues with other BP shingle products besides the Mystique line and we are investigating those lines as well.
