Settlement Approval

On September 18, 2024 the Application for Settlement Approval was approved in the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, General Division – Corner Brook before the Honourable Justice Peter Browne.  To view the Order Sanctioning Settlement please click here. 

We hope to be distributing funds in the next 4-6 weeks. 

In August 2012 letters were sent to 1043 individuals from Western Health advising them that their personal health information had been inappropriately accessed by an employee.
A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit.
