Proposed Class Action
Bob Buckingham Law has filed a proposed class action against the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador on behalf of persons who suffered physical abuse while residing at Mount Cashel Orphanage.
The proposed class action alleges that members of the Christian Brothers physically abused boys residing at Mount Cashel and that the Province failed to take reasonable steps to protect them.
If you resided at Mount Cashel and believe you suffered physical abuse, such as repeated or excessive strapping, punching, kicking, slapping, being struck with objects, dragging, or other physical assaults or forms of excessive corporal punishment, we encourage you to complete the intake form below.
